Inwood Resident Entered Guilty Plea
To Harboring Illegal Aliens
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 49 year old Inwood, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on April 16, 2009, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that JUAN EDMUNDO VALENZUELA entered a plea of guilty to harboring illegal aliens. On January 20, 2009, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement found Henry Castillo and Maria Flores, both illegal aliens, residing in VALENZUELA’s house.
VALENZUELA, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber. The case was investigated by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
