Preston County Resident Enters Plea of Guilty
to Crack Cocaine Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A Preston County, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on December 11, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that: SANDRA BANKHEAD-DIETZ, age 38, entered a plea of guilty to one count of distribution of crack cocaine on January 30, 2009, in Monongalia County, West Virginia. BANKHEAD-DIETZ, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of twenty years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
