Pennsylvania Resident Sentenced
on “Crack” Cocaine Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 28 year old King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, resident was sentenced on July 6, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that CARMEN LEEANN JOHNSTON was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. JOHNSTON entered a plea of guilty on April 21, 2009, to one count of an Indictment charging her with aiding and abetting the distribution of “crack” cocaine on March 1, 2008.
JOHNSTON is in federal custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
