Fairmont Resident Sentenced on “Crack” Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 46 year old Fairmont, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on May 28, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that FRANK JACKSON, also known as “ACTION JACKSON,” was sentenced to 51 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. JACKSON entered a plea of guilty on January 16, 2009, to one count of an Indictment charging him with the distribution of “crack” cocaine on May 12, 2008, in Marion County.
JACKSON is in federal custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the Three Rivers Drug Task Force, consisting of officers from the Fairmont Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
