Charles Town Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Cocaine Charge

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 19 year old Charles Town, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on October 30, 2009, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that JERRY SCAGLIONE entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with the distribution of cocaine base on March 10, 2009, in Charles Town.

SCAGLIONE, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives and the Charles Town Police Department.
