Martinsburg Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Heroin Charge

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 23 year old Martinsburg, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on April 12, 2010, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that CHRISTINA RENEE SAYLOR entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging her with aiding and abetting the distribution of heroin on June 5, 2008, in Martinsburg.

SAYLOR, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber. The case was investigated by the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force. The Task Force consists of officers from the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Martinsburg Police Department, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department.
