Reader Resident Sentenced on
Firearms Charge

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - A 39 year old Reader, West Virginia, resident was sentenced today (August 4, 2010) in United States District Court in Wheeling by Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that JAMES R. BRADLEY was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. BRADLEY entered a plea of guilty on May 28, 2010, to possession of a firearm on February 1, 2010, in Reader, after having been previously convicted of the offense a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year. BRADLEY was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David J. Perri and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
