Monongalia County Resident Sentenced to
12+ Years on Drug Charge

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 46 year old Monongalia County resident was sentenced today (February 11, 2010) in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.

Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that ALBERT WOODSON was sentenced to 151 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. WOODSON entered a plea of guilty on October 8, 2009, to the distribution of “crack” cocaine on November 11, 2008, in Monongalia County.

WOODSON is in federal custody.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
