Enterprise Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Possession of a Machine Gun

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 46 year old Enterprise, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on March 10, 2010, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that ELIZABETH WEEKLY entered a plea of guilty to a one-count Information charging her with possession of a machine gun on June 18, 2008.

WEEKLY, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
