Two Defendants Enter Guilty Pleas to
Cocaine and Illegal Re-Entry Charges

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Two defendants entered guilty pleas on November 8 and 9, 2010, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

ANGELO GARCIA JACKSON, age 46, of Winchester, Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with the distribution of cocaine hydrochloride, also known as “coke,” on December 16, 2009. JACKSON, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 30 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; the Ranson Police Department; and the Charles Town Police Department.

AURELIA CRUZ ROSARIO, age 53, a citizen of Mexico who was previously deported on two occasions, entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with illegal re-entry into the United States without receiving permission. ROSARIO, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of two years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber and was investigated by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
