Three Individuals Enter Pleas in Federal Court
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Three individuals entered pleas of guilty on November 1, 2010, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
DAVID ALLEN TWYMAN, age 34, of Charles Town, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count of the distribution of 7.6 grams of “crack” cocaine on December 4, 2009, in Charles Town. TWYMAN, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years to life imprisonment and a fine of $4,000,000. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms; the Charles Town Police Department and the Ranson Police Department.
DONALD DAVEY, age 32, of Burlington, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of counterfeit currency on April 26, 2010, when $1,780 in counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes in several denominations and bearing numerous different serial numbers were discovered at DAVEY’s residence. DAVEY, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police and the United States Secret Service.
BRYON GOLDIZEN, age 35, of Cabins, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count charging him with embezzling and stealing money in the approximate amount of $38,321.82 from Bryco Bore and Pipe, Inc. SIMPLE IRA Plan, an employee pension benefit plan, from January 1, 2007, through December 2008, in Grant County, West Virginia. GOLDIZEN, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the Department of Labor and Employee Benefits Security Administration.
