Ohio Resident Enters Plea in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 37-year old Ashtabula, Ohio, resident entered a plea of guilty today (August 17, 2011), in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
URIAH SCOTT CRISLIP entered a plea of guilty to one count of stealing and converting for his own use two blank postal money order forms on October 25, 2010, in Linn, West Virginia. CRISLIP, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 5 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service.
