Eastern Panhandle Resident Enters Plea of Guilty
to Bank Robbery
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 41 year old Eastern Panhandle resident entered a plea of guilty on December 21, 2011, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: MARK DANIEL HAINES entered a plea of guilty one count of an Indictment charging him with bank robbery on December 22, 2010, when HAINES drove through the teller window at the BB&T bank in Martinsburg and demanded the money in the drawer and got $7,582.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and were investigated by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
