Two Federal Inmates Enter Pleas and are
Sentenced in Federal Court

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Two FCI Gilmer inmates entered pleas of guilty and were sentenced on December 8, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

MARKUS A. PEREZ-VASQUEZ, age 34, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a prohibited object, being a cell phone, on July 2, 2011, at FCI Gilmer. PEREZ-VASQUEZ was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 170-month sentence.

DAVID DOVE, age 41, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a prohibited object, being a cell phone, on May 15, 2011, at FCI Gilmer. DOVE was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 84-month sentence.

The cases were prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower and were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at FCI Gilmer.
