Federal Inmate Sentenced for
Possessing a Prohibited Object
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 39 year old federal inmate was sentenced on January 7, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that TONY LEE MILLER was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment to be served consecutive to prior sentences, to be followed by three years supervised release. MILLER was convicted in August 2010 on one count of an Indictment charging him with unlawfully possessing an object designed to be used as a weapon on May 4, 2009, while incarcerated at USP Hazelton.
MILLER is in custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at USP Hazelton.
