Harpers Ferry Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Bank Robbery
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 41 year old Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on May 19, 2011, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that MARK DANIEL HAINES entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with bank robbery on December 22, 2010, at BB&T Bank in Inwood, West Virginia.
HAINES, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
