Ranson Resident Entered Guilty Plea on “Crack” Charge
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 32 year old Ranson, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on May 31, 2011, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that JOROY NIGEL TWYMAN, also known as “ROY,” entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with the distribution of “crack” cocaine on May 11, 2010.
TWYMAN, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Charles Town Police Department, the Ranson Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
