Pittsburgh Resident Sentenced on Heroin Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 24 year old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, resident was sentenced on May 18, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that ERIC BREWER, also known as “CASH,” was sentenced to 60 months imprisonment to be followed by four years supervised release. BREWER entered a plea of guilty on December 21, 2010, to one count of an Indictment charging him with possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of crack and less than 100 grams of heroin on January 4, 2009, in Anmoore, Harrison County, and Greenwood, Doddridge County.
BREWER is in federal custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Harrison County Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and the Bridgeport Police Department.
