FCI Gilmer Resident Sentenced for
Resisting and Impeding a Correctional Officer
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 36 year old federal inmate was sentenced on May 19, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that CLYDE SCOTT, an inmate at FCI Gilmer, was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment to run consecutive to his current sentence of 220 months. SCOTT entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Superseding Indictment charging him with resisting and impeding a Correctional Officer on February 9, 2010.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Special Investigative Services at FCI Gilmer.
