Martinsburg Resident Enters Plea of Guilty
to Drug Charge
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 30 year old Martinsburg, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on November 7, 2011, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: ANNE MARIE ALSTON entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging her with the distribution of crack cocaine on April 21, 2011, in Berkeley County. ALSTON, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the Martinsburg Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
