Morgantown Resident Enters Plea of Guilty
to Heroin Conspiracy
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 39 year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on November 7, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: RONNIE LONG entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him conspiracy to distribute heroin from June of 2009 to June of 2010 in Morgantown. LONG, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew R. Cogar and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
