Federal Inmate Enters Plea and is
Sentenced in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — An FCI Gilmer inmate entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced on November 1, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: DAVID WILLIAMS, age 25, entered a plea of guilty to one count of assaulting a correctional officer on January 14, 2011, at FCI Gilmer by striking the correctional officer while attempting to dispose of contraband. WILLIAMS was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 130-month sentence.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower and were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at FCI Gilmer.
