Ohio Resident Sentenced on Cocaine and Marijuana Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 31 year old Cleveland, Ohio, resident was sentenced on October 12, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that: DANIEL L. ARGUELLES, was sentenced to 90 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. ARGUELLES entered a plea of guilty on August 3, 2011, to one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and more than 50 kilograms of marijuana from at least November of 2009 to May 3, 2011, in Harrison County, West Virginia. ARGUELLES was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert H. McWilliams, Jr. and was investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The task force consists of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
