Morgantown Resident Enters Plea to Drug Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 20-year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 12, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: EMEKA NWOSU entered a plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone hydrochloride from the Spring of 2011 to April 20, 2011, in the Morgantown area. NWOSU, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley and was investigated by the Mon Valley Drug Task Force, consisting of officers from the Morgantown Police Department, the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
