Ohio Resident Enters Plea to Firearms Charge
WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - A 25-year old Mingo Junction, Ohio, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 13, 2011, in United States District Court in Wheeling before Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: JASON RINKES entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of a firearm on February 17, 2011, in Weirton, West Virginia, after having previously been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding on year. RINKES, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David J. Perri and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
