Cleveland Resident Enters Plea to Drug Charge

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - A 31-year old Cleveland, Ohio, resident entered a plea of guilty on August 6, 2012, in United District Court in Wheeling before Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: MYRON L. HENDERSON entered a plea of guilty to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of Riverview Towers on November 19, 2010, in Wheeling. As part of his plea, HENDERSON has agreed to the forfeiture of $1,050, which constitutes proceeds obtained from drug activity, and, any interest he has, if any, to a Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol and ammunition, which were seized from him on November 19, 2010. HENDERSON, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 40 years imprisonment and a $2,000,000 fine.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John C. Parr. The case was investigated by the Ohio Valley Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the Wheeling Police Department, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
