Fairmont Resident Enters Plea to Firearms charge

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 34 year old Fairmont, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on August 15, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: DEVON MILLER entered a plea of guilty to Felon in Possession of a Firearm. MILLER possessed a firearm on December 11, 2011, despite having a prior felony conviction from the Circuit Court of Marion County, West Virginia, for Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

MILLER, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley and investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
