Morgantown Resident Sentenced on Heroin Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 27 year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on February 17, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: JOSHUA FOSTER was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. FOSTER entered a plea of guilty on October 31, 2011, to one count of distribution of heroin in Granville, West Virginia, on January 18, 2010. FOSTER, who is free on bond, will self-report to the designated Federal institution on March 19, 2012.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew R. Cogar and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
