Two Martinsburg Residents Enter Pleas of Guilty
in Federal Court
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Two Martinsburg, West Virginia, residents entered pleas of guilty on January 17, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
BRANDON ALLEN ANDREWS, age 29, entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with possession with intent to distribute cocaine on April 16, 2008, in Martinsburg. ANDREWS, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
JEREMY EDWARD RINKER, age 26, entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with possession with intent to distribute marijuana on April 16, 2008, n Martinsburg. RINKER, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 5 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
These cases were prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Kimberley Crockett and were investigated by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office.
