Clarksburg Resident Enters Plea in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 57 year old Clarksburg, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty on January 24, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: MICHELLE WAUGAMAN entered a plea of guilty to one count charging her with maintaining a drug-involved premise from December of 2009 to January 5, 2010, in Clarksburg, for the purpose of distributing marijuana. WAUGAMAN, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $500,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County Task Force consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
