Three Individuals Entered Pleas of Guilty
in Federal Court

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA - Three individuals entered pleas of guilty on July 24, 2012, in United States District Court in Elkins before Chief Judge John Preston Bailey.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

LARRY JAMES MARTIN, age 35, of Moorefield, West Virginia, entered a pea of guilty to Possession of Material Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine on September 7, 2011, in Hardy County. MARTIN, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

AMANDA LYNN LIPSCOMB, age 26, of Moorefield, entered a plea of guilty to Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premise during the Spring and Summer of 2011, in Hardy County. LIPSCOMB, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $500,000.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the United States Forest Service, Homeland Security Investigations, West Virginia State Police, Pendleton County Sheriff’s Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Department and the Petersburg Police Department.

BREANNE MCULTY, age 22, of Petersburg, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to Making Threats to a Material Witness on April 9, 2012, in an effort to prevent the witness from testifying in an official proceeding. MCULTY,who is in custody pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and investigated by the United States Forest Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and the West Virginia State Police.
