Federal Inmate Enters Plea and is
Sentenced in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — An FCI Gilmer inmate entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced on May 11, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: MICHAEL CHEATOM, age 32, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession marijuana on August 21, 2011, at FCI Gilmer. CHEATOM was sentenced to 4 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 90-month sentence.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower and were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at FCI Gilmer.
