Two Clarksburg Residents
Enter Pleas to Drug Charges
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - Two individuals entered pleas of guilty in United States District Court in Clarksburg on November 28, 2012, before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
BETH ALLEVATO a/k/a “ROXIE”, age 40, of Clarksburg, entered a plea of guilty to “Distribution of Cocaine” on December 2, 2011, in Clarksburg. ALLEVATO, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 30 years imprisonment and a $2,000,000 fine due to a prior felony drug conviction.
BRADLEY HUTSON, age 53, of Clarksburg, entered a plea of guilty to “Distribution of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of Glen Elk City Park” on March 22, 2012. HUTSON, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Criminal Chief Shawn A. Morgan and investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
