Four Individuals Entered Pleas of Guilty
In Methamphetamine Investigation
ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA - Four individuals entered pleas of guilty on November
29, 2012, in United States District Court in Elkins before Magistrate Judge John S. Kull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
ROBERT ALLEN COOK, age 48, of Old Fields, West Virginia; PAULA LYNN CHAMP, age 29, of Purgitsville, West Virginia; LISHA RUNIONS, age 50, of Fisher, West Virginia; and, LISA LYNN CRITES, 36, of Moorefield, West Virginia, each entered a plea of guilty to “Possession of Material Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine” for conduc that occurred in January of 2012, in Hardy County. COOK is in custody pending sentencing and CHAMP, RUNIONS and CRITES are free on bond pending sentencing. Each individual faces up to 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
These cases were prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and were investigated by the West Virginia State Police and the Hardy County Sheriff’s Department.
