Two Clarksburg Residents
Enter Pleas to Distribution of Crack Cocaine
Within 1,000 Feet of a Protected Location
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - Two individuals entered pleas of guilty in United States District Court in Clarksburg on November 28, 2012, before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
DANTE DUPREE, age 40 and TAMMY KENNEDY, age 46, of Clarksburg entered pleas of guilty to “Distribution of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of Glen Elk City Park” on June 21, 2012. DUPREE, who is in custody pending sentencing, and KENNEDY, who is free on bond pending sentencing, face up to 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Criminal Chief Shawn A. Morgan and investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
