North Carolina Resident Entered a Plea of Guilty to the Use of a Counterfeit Access Device
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 35 year old Castle Hayne, North Carolina, resident entered a plea of guilty in United States District Court in Martinsburg on November
29, 2012, before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: TERICKA GRADY entered a plea of guilty to “Use of a Counterfeit Access Device” on April 4, 2010, at the casino in Charles Town, West Virginia, when GRADY presented photographic identification along with a counterfeit credit card in order to obtain a cash advance of $1,000. As part of his plea, GRADY has agreed to make restitution in the amount of $10,000 to the casino. GRADY, who in in custody pending sentencing, face up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow and investigated by the West Virginia State Police and United States Secret Service.
