Two Individuals Entered Pleas of Guilty to Methamphetamine Charges
ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA - Two individuals entered pleas of guilty on October 1,
2012, in United States District Court in Elkins before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
APRIL DAWN KENNEY, age 30, of Huttonsville, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to Possession of Pseudoephedrine to be Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine
on May 22, 2012, in Randolph County. KENNEY, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
JEFFREY R. CORLEY, age 480, of Elkins, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to
Possession of Pseudoephedrine to be Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine on May
17, 2012, in Randolph County. CORLEY, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the United States Forest Service and the Randolph County Sheriff’s
Department.
