Two Individuals Enter Pleas in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 30 year old Fairmont, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 4, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
RANDY HAMRICK, age 30, of Fairmont, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty on August 30, 2012, to Possession of a Firearm on April 1, 2012, in Clarksburg, after having been previously being convicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio for threats against the President and in the Court of Common Pleas of Lake County, Ohio for aggravated assault with a physical harm specification. HAMRICK, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
JOHN D. WASHINGTON, age 30, of Fairmont, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty on September 4, 2012, to Possession of a Firearm on November 26, 2011, in Marion County, after having previously being convicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia for being a felon in possession of a firearm. WASHINGTON, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
