Virginia Resident Enters Plea in Federal Court
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 38 year old Stephens City, Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 19, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: LOURDES YVETTE VALENTIN entered a plea of guilty to Possession of Crack Cocaine in Martinsburg, West Virginia. VALENTIN, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 1 year imprisonment and a $100,000 fine.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow and investigated by uniformed officers of the Martinsburg Police Department and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Martinsburg Police Department, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration in Hagerstown, Maryland.
