HUNTINGTON WOMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO FEDERAL DRUG CHARGE
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Eva Marie Bunner, 28, of Huntington, pleaded guilty today in federal court before United States District Judge Robert C. Chambers to maintaining a residence for the distribution of crack cocaine. Bunner admitted that from December 17, 2008 through early August 2009, she permitted several known associates to use her Huntington apartment for the purpose of storing and selling oxycodone tablets and crack cocaine. In addition, Bunner further admitted to participating in the sell of oxycodone pills, where she received a weekly average of $1500 worth of pills up front from associates. In addition, Bunner admitted that she made approximately four trips to Detroit to obtain pills that she subsequently brought back to Huntington for resale.
Bunner faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced on July 9, 2012.
The U.S. 119 Drug Task Force conducted the investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Gregory McVey is in charge of the prosecution.
