Jeffrey Lynn Mapps, 59, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 3, 2011, for failure to register as a sex offender. Mapps received 24 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $250.00 fine. This case was investigated by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Brannan Beach Hoover, 29, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Alan B. Johnson on March 3, 2011, for distribution of fentanyl resulting in death. Hoover received 60 months imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release and was ordered to pay $3,643.00 in restitution. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
