Carlos Garcia-Cano, 21, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 16, 2011, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Garcia-Cano received seven months of imprisonment to be followed by two years of supervised release. Additionally, Garcia-Cano was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and will be deported upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Erick Garrido-Cruz, 20, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 16, 2011, for fraud and misuse of visas, permits and other entry documents. The defendant was sentenced to time served plus ten days, one year of supervised release and will be subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Hermilo Garrido-Cruz, 22, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 15, 2011, for fraud and misuse of visas, permits and other entry documents. Kari Lee Drury Bull, 26, of Casper, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge William F. Downes on March 15, 2011, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and use of a communication facility to facilitate a felony drug offence. Drury Bull received 70 months imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment and to forfeit $1,000.00. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
