Justin Jeremy Chappell, 36, of Buffalo, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge William F. Downes on July 7, 2011, for felon in possession of a firearm. Chappell received 37 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Christopher Gates, 48, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge William F. Downes on July 6, 2011, for felon in possession of a firearm. Gates received twenty months of imprisonment, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $500.00 fine and a $100 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Alejo Perez-Rodriguez, 32, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on July 6, 2011, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Perez-Rodriguez received time served plus ten days, to be followed by two years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Angel Sanchez-Rodriguez, 48, of Mexico, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on July 6, 2011, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Sanchez-Rodriguez received time served plus ten days, to be followed by one year of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Marko Markovic, 27, of San Diego, California, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Clarence A. Brimmer on July 6, 2011, for false statements to immigration authorities. Markovic received time served, to be followed by two years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Ismael Pena, 20, of Douglas, Arizona, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on June 30, 2011, for traveling in interstate commerce to distribute proceeds of unlawful activity and aiding and abetting. Pena received twenty months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $400.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
