Sentences for February 02 through February 06, 2012

Alex Garcia, Jr., aka “Hondo”, 28, of Fresno, California, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on February 6, 2012, for conspiracy to launder money. Garcia was arrested in Fresno. He received 70 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $500.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

John Michael Morgan, 22, of Greybull, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on February 6, 2012, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 500 grams to 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine. Morgan was arrested in Greybull. He received 120 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200.00 assessment and a $400.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Daniel George Renteria, 34, of Fresno, California, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on February 6, 2012, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 794 grams of methamphetamine. Renteria was arrested in Fresno. He received 188 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200.00 assessment and a $1,000.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Conall Roy Kerswill, 43, of Jackson, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on February 2, 2012, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was arrested in Jackson and received five months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, with the first five months on home confinement. In addition, Kerswill was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $200.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
