Jesus Bautista-Rodriguez, 26, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on August 3, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Bautista-Rodriguez was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received time served plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Nathan Appledorn, 32, of Riverton, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Chief Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on August 7, 2012, for attempted receipt of child pornography. Appledorn was arrested in Riverton. He received 87 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 10 years of supervised release. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.
