Jose Luis Sarabia-Villegas, 30, of Mexico, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on October 1, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. He was arrested in Gillette, Wyoming. He received 20 months of imprisonment, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Leonel Baca-Castillo, 30, of Mexico, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on October 1, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. He was arrested in Evanston, Wyoming. He received 18 months of imprisonment, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Jeremiah Doss, 26, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on September 28, 2012, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Doss was arrested in Cheyenne. He received 60 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $300.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Alfonso Hernandez-Chavira, 55, of Wheatland, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on September 27, 2012, on one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Approximately 55 grams of methamphetamine, 31 grams of cocaine and 450 grams of marijuana were seized. Hernandez-Chavira was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He received 84 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $300.00 special assessment and a $700.00 fine. This case was investigated by the Wheatland Police Department, the Platte County Sheriff’s Office, the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
