Joel Wesley Speiser, 32, of Montana, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on December 6, 2012, for escape. Speiser was arrested in Billings, Montana. He received 12 months and one day of imprisonment and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the United States Marshals Service.
Bobby Jack Jenkins, 53, of Torrington, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on December 5, 2012, following a jury trial where he was convicted on two counts of interstate communications with intent to injury. Jenkins received 51 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Capitol Protective Services; the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service; and the Social Security Administration, Office of the Inspector General, Office of Investigations.
