Request for compensation

As I'm sure you are overwhelmed with requests, I will keep my letter succinct.

I didn't loss a job or a loved one. I lived in Battery Park City. I lost walking my dog and meeting with my friends every morning. I lost feeling safe at any hour. I lost sitting on the Esplanade. I lost being able to walk across the street and jump on the subway to any other part of Manhattan. I lost walking to work. I lost my life.

A job can be replaced, you can't replace a neighborhood. I am a victim of the World Trade Center Disaster and as deserving of relief as any other victim. The American people amazed the world with their outpouring of generosity. My loss is as legitimate as the people who are now widows and orphans and unemployed due to September 11.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
