Is this Fair?

To whoever this might concern!

I had thought that by experiencing sept 11, as a nation, we would all come together as a nation and fight this horrible act. Well, most of us did and still do.

BUT, it seems that when it comes to the GAY QUESTION, it seems to matter quite a bit that if you are gay or living in a committed relationship with the same sex, we are treated not as equals, but as something different, actually something so different that even illegal alieans have more rights! This fact alone is pretty dam pathetic.

I'm surprised that gay america would support anything at all that has to do with giving of oneself to a cause to hopefully better mankind. We pay taxes just like straight america, sometimes more because we can't get married, and usually our taxes are as individuals, eventhough some of us are living in a comitted relationship. By the way, the ones who are in a comitted relationship last longer than most straight marriages.

So for me, if I am ever asked to support anything of a giving nature, I will refuse hands down, unless its gay orientated. As far as I'm concerned the united states government can not be trusted, neither can any arm under its control.
