UPDATE: JAMES MACK BONDS OUT OF FEDERAL CUSTODY
James Mack, the co-defendant in the Travis Henry cocaine case, was released today after he posted a $10,000 unsecured bond this morning. Now that he has been released, Mack is subject to electronic monitoring and home detention. Yesterday Travis Henry was released on a $360,000 property bond and a $40,000 unsecured bond. Henry is also subject to electronic monitoring and home detention.
Travis Henry is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Billings, Montana on October 14, 2008, at 2:00 pm for arraignment. James Mack is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Billings, Montana on October 17, 2008, at 2:00 pm for arraignment. Both defendants will appear before U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn S. Ostby.

Travis Henry has posted a $360,000 property bond, and a $40,000 unsecured bond, which has resulted in his release from federal custody today. The property Henry posted for bond is located in Aurora, Colorado. Now that he has been released, Henry is subject to electronic monitoring and home detention. Co-defendant James Mack is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Denver at 10:00 am tomorrow, where he is expected to post a $10,000 unsecured bond. Mack is also subject to electronic monitoring and home detention. Both defendants have been ordered by the court not to contact each other. Henry and Mack face cocaine distribution charges out of the District of Montana.

October 8, 2008 -- UPDATE: TRAVIS HENRY AND JAMES MACK APPEAR IN FEDERAL COURT THIS MORNING
Travis Henry and James Mack appeared in U.S. District Court in Denver this morning. They both appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix. The purpose of today’s hearing was to determine each defendant’s status as it pertains to their bonds. Henry put up a house as collateral – which resulted in his posting a $360,000 secured bond. Henry was allowed to post the remaining $40,000 as an unsecured bond. Pre-trial services is in the process of putting a phone line in Henry’s house for electronic monitoring. Henry could be released as early as tomorrow. Mack was allowed to put up a $10,000 unsecured bond. Pre-trial services also needs to install a phone line for electronic monitoring in Mack’s house. Mack will likely be released early next week.

October 6, 2008 -- UPDATE regarding criminal cocaine case against Travis Henry and James Mack
Travis Henry and James Mack appeared in U.S. District Court in Denver this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix. The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Colorado, dismissed the Criminal Complaint as to both defendants because they have been charged by Indictment in the District of Montana. During today’s hearing, Henry and Mack were advised of the new charges pending against them in Montana. They waived their right to an identity and removal hearing. Magistrate Judge Mix ordered that Henry could be released on a $400,000 fully secured bond. Mack was ordered released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. If and when the defendants bond out, both Henry and Mack were ordered to submit to electronic monitoring as well as home detention. A status hearing will be held this Wednesday at 10:30 am, also before Magistrate Judge Mix.
